Pony Camp was Established in 1976, the SHS Pony Camp was the first of its kind in the area. Over 40 years of experience later, we are proud to offer a full program of camps which accommodate riders of all ages and skill level. Our comprehensive approach focuses on small groups and goal setting, encouraging a spirit of good sportsmanship, positive attitude, and individuality. Safe horsemanship, respect and appreciation of the horses are paramount.

Pony Camp is a three-day-per-week program focusing on the basics of riding and horsemanship, taught through games, for our youngest riders. A day at Pony Camp consists of grooming and ground work basics as well as group lead-line lessons. Pony campers who are interested in showing may participate in the Lead-line classes of select shows.

Please note 2009 camp applications will be avalible in January 09.
