Horse Camp covers the basic and most important skills in riding, and is divided into two groups
according to the campers confidence and skill levels. The “beginner” group will be learning a
more secure seat while working toward a goal of cantering confidently. The “intermediate” group
begins to jump small cross-rails, and works toward jumping two or three fences in succession.

Horse Campers learn a complete basic grooming routine and become comfortable caring for their
horses and equipment. As an exciting new addition to Horse Camp, there is a House Show
monthly where campers will get to show off the skills. , Horse Campers who are interested in
joining the Show Team may participate in flat classes at select shows during the summer.
Those who participate in at least three formal shows during the summer will have the opportunity
to participate in the Hampton Classic.

Ages: 7 and older
Required equipment: Paddock Boots, ASTM Approved Helmet, Long Pants or Chaps
Experience required: Walk/Trot independently
Schedule: Monday-Friday (9am - noon) (Monthly in house horse show)
Price per week: $600.00*
Price for five weeks: $2850.00 paid in advance*
